Christmas Carol Year Two!

In 2022 Encore mounted our first production of what we hoped would become an annual tradition in Southern Utah, A Christmas Carol - A New Musical. We were so grateful for a successful run in 2022 and are proud to say that 2023 was even more successful!

Corbin Allred reprised his role as Ebenezer Scrooge and once again brought passion and energy to the role. Even more valuable was his contribution as a leader and mentor to the all youth cast who accompanied him onstage.

Our dear friend Adam Mast had to say about this year’s performance the following:

…Friends in St. George! I can't stress enough how outstanding Encore 's production of "A Christmas Carol" is. Corbin Allred 's work as Scrooge is incredibly moving. Likewise, Adam Cheney is fantastic. And the kids that make up the majority of the spirited "Show With a Pro" cast are just wonderful.

Adam Record , Rhett Guter and team have done an expert job putting their own joyful spin on a classic. The perfectly fitting songs give off a nostalgic vibe that might remind some of the memorable tunes from Muppet Christmas Carol. This is to say nothing of the winning production design, costumes, and effects.

For all its warm-hearted Christmastime-inspired awesomeness, one of the things I find most endearing about this show is its purity. A Christmas Carol is all about tradition and Encore!'s take is sure to be a Southern Utah staple for many years to come. Be sure to experience it with your family and friends.
