CONFLICTS

All conflicts need to be listed on audition forms. Any other conflicts will need to be approved on a case by case basis. Only two excused absences are permitted per semester. Only one unexcused absence per semester. Unexcused means: no showing or other reason for missing rehearsal that was not approved by Kelby (Director) or Shannon (Stage Manager).  Any more than that will result in removal from certain numbers or entire performances without the option of tuition refund.

It takes a village!

Aspire is growing! 3 years old and we have learned so much! Our staff is expanding which allows us to focus even more on our young performers to give them the best experience possible.

PARENT LIAISONS

“It takes a village!” At Aspire Performing Company, we believe that strong communication and collaboration with parents are essential to the success of our young performers. We are looking for parents who would be interested and willing to play the role of parent liaison volunteer for their performer’s group.

ASPIRE AMBASSADORS

Are you an enthusiastic performer over the age of 16 looking to take on a leadership role? Aspire Performing Company is excited to offer the new opportunity to become an Aspire Ambassador! As an Ambassador, you will assist the director in working with younger performer groups, providing guidance, support, and inspiration. This role is perfect for those who want to develop their leadership skills and make a positive impact on our theater community.

Aspire Ambassadors are interviewed once all casting is complete, so come join us and let our team know that you are interested when you come to auditions!

Got Questions?

  • Aspire can accommodate ages 7-18. It should be noted that high school graduates are not eligible to participate as a performer.

  • At Aspire Performing Company, casting is about more than just talent — it’s about creating well-balanced, cohesive teams where every performer can thrive.

Each of our five Aspire groups is carefully curated to reflect a mix of ages, skill levels, vocal ranges, and even height, when needed. Just like assembling a sports team, we consider how individual strengths come together to support the group as a whole.

Being placed in a particular group is not a ranking of ability. It’s about matching each performer to the group where they can contribute meaningfully and grow confidently, while ensuring every team has what it needs to shine on stage.

We value every performer and the unique energy they bring. No matter where you’re placed, you’re an important part of the Aspire family — and we can’t wait to see what you’ll create.

  • Tuition is typically around $395 per semester. Payment plans and limited scholarships are available to help make the program accessible to all families.

  • Yes! Encore and Aspire want to welcome as many young performers as possible and don’t want finances to be an issue. That said, we only have a few scholarships available each semester so apply today! You can apply here.

  • Yes! We have taken our groups to California, Disneyland and on cruises to perform. There are always new performance opportunities for our groups!

  • Aspire is focused on vocal and show choir-style performance rather than musical theater productions. It includes ensemble work, choreography, and concert-style showcases.

  • Rehearsals are typically held once a week during each semester, with additional rehearsals scheduled closer to performance dates.

  • Auditions are relaxed and fun. Students will sing a short section of a song and learn a simple movement combination. No previous experience is required.

  • Yes! Each Aspire group prepares a themed performance that is showcased at a professional venue for friends, family, and the community.

  • Yes! We ask that each performance and each rehearsal be attended by every performer.

  • Illuminate is Aspire’s advanced touring ensemble. Members are selected by audition and take on more challenging material and additional performance opportunities, often including travel.
