When we announced auditions for Shrek the Musical Kids, we knew we had something special brewing. What we didn’t expect was the overwhelming response from our community—over 80 young artists answered the call to journey to the swamp, making this one of our largest productions to date. At Encore Performing Arts, ensuring every single young artist is truly seen and heard isn’t just a logistical challenge—it’s central to our mission.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Encore Performing Arts is off to a great start with Anastasia! This sweeping musical adventure has assembled a great cast and an amazing team of leaders ready to bring Imperial Russia and Revolutionary Paris to life on the Electric Theater stage.

2025 was a remarkable year at Encore Performing Arts—one marked by growth, creativity, and meaningful opportunities for young artists to learn, perform, and connect through theatre. From classic productions like Alice in Wonderland and Les Misérables Teen Edition to professional experiences at Disneyland and the Utah Shakespeare Festival, our students embraced over a dozen productions and educational programs. With over 70 participants in Page to Stage experiences, the launch of our Show with the Pro mentorship program featuring professional actors, and our best Villains Night yet, Encore continued its mission of empowering young artists through excellence, mentorship, and community connection.

One of Encore’s favorite traditions is celebrating each production with a cast party. After A Christmas Carol, the cast and creative team gathered for an evening filled with laughter, games, food, and special moments together.

Encore’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. took flight this past weekend, thrilling audiences with lively performances, imaginative choreography, and heartfelt storytelling. Guided by a talented creative team, our young artists delivered a charming and memorable production that quickly became a community favorite.

Encore’s Page to Stage students traveled to Las Vegas to see The Lion King at The Smith Center—a day filled with music, movement, and unforgettable inspiration. This powerful production offered our young artists a firsthand look at professional theatre at its best.

Encore’s summer production of Moana Jr. lit up the Electric Theater with two incredible youth casts, dynamic performances, and a creative team led by former Encore students. With unforgettable songs, vibrant choreography, and weeks of hard work, these young performers delivered a show full of energy, heart, and pride.

Encore’s Fun in the Sun – Aspire Camp brought together over 30 young performers for a week of music, movement, and mentorship. With standout solos, energetic group numbers, and a final showcase performance, campers gained confidence, built friendships, and experienced the joy of the stage in a supportive and inspiring environment.
