Meet your Director
Randy Sly is a seasoned actor, director, and teaching artist at Encore Performing Arts, dedicated to helping students deepen their craft and discover the full expressive range of their instrument — body, voice, and imagination.
With years of professional experience onstage and in the classroom, Randy brings a thoughtful, technique-driven approach to developing confident, authentic performers.
He leads acting classes that challenge students to work with intention, emotional truth, and physical awareness, guiding them beyond surface-level performance and into deeper character exploration. His teaching emphasizes connection, presence, and storytelling — empowering actors to trust their instincts, take creative risks, and express themselves with clarity and confidence.
Whether working with new performers or advanced students, Randy creates an engaging, supportive learning environment where actors can grow artistically, collaborate meaningfully, and strengthen the skills they need to thrive in rehearsal, onstage, and beyond.
