Anastasia: Off to a Great Start

Encore Performing Arts is off to a great start with Anastasia! This sweeping musical adventure has assembled a great cast and an amazing team of leaders ready to bring Imperial Russia and Revolutionary Paris to life on the Electric Theater stage.

The organization is excited to have Randy Jo Sly directing this production. Leslie Scott returns as the music director, and Kelly Bingham joins as the choreographer. Former Encore alumni Haven Record returns as the dance captain, bringing her experience and talent back to guide our young artists.

The rehearsal process began with a table read, a vital first step used to set the tone and launch each production. Table reads allow the cast to explore the story and characters together, understanding the character arcs and themes that will shape their performances in the weeks ahead. It’s a chance to discover the heart of the show before ever stepping onto the stage.

Looking ahead, the team is excited for weeks of exciting rehearsals and preparation as this talented group of young artists brings Anastasia’s journey to life.
