Encore Performing Arts is proud to present an ASL-interpreted performance of Les Misérables as part of our commitment to accessibility and inclusion in the arts. This special performance, interpreted live in American Sign Language (ASL), will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 2:00 PM at the historic Electric Theater in downtown St. George.

This showing is open to the public and welcomes both Deaf and hearing audiences. Certified ASL interpreting students from Utah Tech University, led by instructor Andrea Luikart, will interpret the full performance live, making it fully accessible for Deaf and hard-of-hearing community members.

What to Expect:

  • ASL interpreters positioned near the stage to ensure clear sightlines for audience members using ASL.

  • Reserved seating options available for Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests to ensure optimal viewing.

  • A fully-staged performance of Les Misérables: School Edition featuring a cast of talented young performers.
