Why Parade?
Parade tells the true and harrowing story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager in 1913 Atlanta who was wrongfully accused of murder amid a wave of antisemitism and racial prejudice. This Tony Award-winning musical, with a stunning score by Jason Robert Brown, explores themes of justice, truth, and the power of storytelling.
Please be advised that Parade includes themes of racism, antisemitism, and historical white supremacy. These elements are presented as part of the true events the show depicts, but Encore Performing Arts does not condone or support such behavior. The story also includes references to sexual assault.
