1. Who can audition?

Anyone ages 13–18 is welcome to audition. We encourage performers of all backgrounds and experience levels to join us!

2. Do I need previous experience to audition?

Not at all! While experience can help, we welcome first-timers and seasoned performers alike. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

3. What should I prepare for my audition?

Each production has specific audition requirements (such as a prepared song or monologue). Full details are listed on the registration page and confirmation email.

4. What should I wear to auditions?

Wear clothes and shoes you can comfortably move in. Dance or character shoes are encouraged if you have them, but not required.

5. Where will auditions take place?

Auditions are typically held at local schools or performance spaces. Check the production page or your confirmation email for location details.

6. Can I audition if I’m not available for all rehearsal dates?

We encourage full availability, but you may still audition if you have some conflicts. Please list all known conflicts clearly on your audition form.

7. Will everyone who auditions be cast?

8. What if I can’t attend auditions in person?

9. Is there a participation fee?

11. How often are rehearsals and when do they start?

13. Can I participate in multiple Encore productions?

Absolutely! Many of our performers stay involved year-round. Just be mindful of rehearsal overlaps and time commitments.

14. Who directs and choreographs the shows?

Our senior programs are led by experienced teaching artists, directors, and choreographers dedicated to providing a professional and encouraging environment.
