Prepare a 30-60 second cut from a musical in the style of the show, and bring a headshot and resume. Callbacks will be held on August 9th from 11:00am–1:00pm (by invitation only). Everyone who auditions will receive a role, but space is limited—register today!

3. What should I prepare for my audition?

4. What should I wear to auditions?

Wear clothes and shoes you can comfortably move in. Dance or character shoes are encouraged if you have them, but not required.

5. Where will auditions take place?

6. Can I audition if I’m not available for all rehearsal dates?

We encourage full availability, but you may still audition if you have some conflicts. Please list all known conflicts clearly on your audition form.

7. Will everyone who auditions be cast?

8. What if I can’t attend auditions in person?

11. How often are rehearsals and when do they start?

Rehearsals are typically held 2–3 times a week, with increased frequency closer to showtime. Exact schedules are provided after casting.

12. What is expected of cast members?

13. Can I participate in multiple Encore productions?

Absolutely! Many of our performers stay involved year-round. Just be mindful of rehearsal overlaps and time commitments.

14. Who directs and choreographs the shows?

Our senior programs are led by experienced teaching artists, directors, and choreographers dedicated to providing a professional and encouraging environment.
