Anastasia: A Journey Complete
What a magnificent run! Anastasia has closed at the Electric Theater, and we couldn’t be more proud of our young artists and creative team who brought this sweeping musical to life.
Under the expert direction of Randy Jo Sly, the musical leadership of Leslie Scott, and the stunning choreography of Kelly Bingham, our cast transported audiences from revolutionary Russia to the elegance of 1920s Paris. The production featured beautiful ballet sequences and choreography, with exceptional work from soloists Norah Hafen and Davin Smith.
As always, the safety and comfort of our young artists remains our top priority. Anastasia includes romantic scenes that require close physical interaction, and we were fortunate to have Britannia Howe return to Encore to lead intimacy training with our cast. This work ensures that our performers feel safe, respected, and empowered in every moment on stage—a practice we’re committed to maintaining in all our productions.
To our cast, crew, creative team, and families—thank you for making this production unforgettable. To our audiences who filled the Electric Theater night after night—your support means everything to these young artists.
The journey to the past was beautiful. Now we look ahead to what’s next at Encore.
