


Acting 1 Advanced- The Actor’s Instrument Randy Sly
Students develop refined control of their physical, vocal, and emotional instruments while exploring more sophisticated approaches to character development and performance technique.
Students will also be introduced to and develop skills in the works of Shakespeare through the study and performance of monologues and scenes, with the opportunity to participate in the High School Shakespeare Competition hosted by the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
*Students who decide they want to compete in the competition will have additional rehearsal times to prepare. The competition runs October 2- October 4, with workshops and additional learning opportunities.
