August 18- December 1

16 Weeks

AGES 6 - 11

$225

Discover your creative voice and unlock the tools of the actor's craft! Join Bridget Cunningham for an inspiring class where young artists explore their unique talents while developing fundamental performance skills through playful exercises and structured activities.

Students will develop physical awareness and creative movement through Laban-inspired techniques, while vocal exploration and articulation games strengthen their expressive abilities. Through imagination-based play, basic emotional expression exercises, and character physicality work, young performers will build the foundation skills essential to any actor.

Concentration and focus exercises help students develop discipline, while solo moments build the self-confidence crucial for stage success. This supportive environment encourages each child to discover their individual creative voice while mastering fundamental acting techniques.

Beyond performance skills, students develop essential life abilities including body awareness, clear communication, emotional literacy, and confidence in self-presentation—all while learning to follow direction and maintain their natural creativity.

Key Skills: Physical awareness & creative movement • Vocal exploration & articulation • Imagination & creative play • Emotional expression & character work • Concentration & focus • Self-confidence building

Perfect for young artists beginning their theatrical journey in a nurturing, skill-building environment.

Ages 6-11 | All levels welcome

While we list suggested ages, placement is based on your child's readiness and individual development rather than age.

For questions about the class, requirements, or anything else, feel free to reach out to our Director of Education, Randy Sly, at randy@encorepa.org
