Shakespearience

A full day at the Utah Shakespeare Festival — a Festival-led workshop paired with live performances of She Loves Me and Hamlet, comedy and tragedy side by side.

The Experience

Workshop, then the live show

Every Page to Stage trip pairs a hands-on Encore workshop with a group visit to the professional production, so our Young Artists arrive ready to watch like makers — not just spectators.

Festival Day

Shakespearience

A full afternoon and evening of all things theater at the Utah Shakespeare Festival — two productions, a group dinner, and an Encore-exclusive workshop led by the Festival’s own teaching artists. Throughout the day, company members give orientations to each show in the Seminar Grove.

Connections and Conflicts: A She Loves Me Workshop, led by the Festival’s own teaching artists, digs into the characters and themes of a show our Young Artists will have watched hours earlier — how connections and conflicts drive a story, and how an audience comes to understand a character.

Company members also give orientations to each production in the Seminar Grove, so every Young Artist walks in knowing what to watch for.
