Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. Was a Hit!
Encore’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. soared this past weekend, and we could not be more proud of the young artists who brought this magical show to life. From the first note to the final bow, the energy in the Electric Theater was electric—full houses, big smiles, and an atmosphere of pure joy.
Much of that magic is thanks to the creative leadership behind the scenes. Under the direction of Emilie Laudie, who also guided the music with her signature warmth and precision, the cast delivered polished, heartfelt performances. The choreography—crafted by Kelly Bingham, who also served as Associate Director, and enhanced by the vibrant contributions of Macie Muller—gave the show its lively movement and charm. And the imaginative, colorful costume design by Bethany Doud helped the world of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. leap vividly to life onstage.
Together, this artistic team created an environment where young performers felt supported, challenged, and inspired. Their guidance allowed our cast to shine with confidence, humor, and heart—resulting in a production that audiences adored.
